Aldercar High School GCSE and Level 2 Examination Results 2026
Aldercar High School is delighted to celebrate an impressive set of GCSE and Level 2 examination results, with students achieving the school’s best ever results in a number of key measures.
In English and mathematics, more than one third of students achieved a grade 5 or above in both subjects, while approximately half of students achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and mathematics.  Both measures represent significant improvements on last year.
Across all GCSE and Level 2 qualifications, the average grade achieved was above grade 4, with 40% of all grades awarded at grade 5 or above.  More than one in ten grades were at grade 7 or above, reflecting the hard work and ambition of students across the year group.
There were a number of outstanding individual performances across the year group, and we would like to offer our special congratulations to those students who achieved exceptional results. In particular, Isabella Jones, Seth Reeves, Kieran Jacobs, Grace Collins, Ruby Simpson, Dominic Taylor, Maya Gasior and Rhyley Henstock all achieved grade 9s as part of their impressive set of results. This is a fantastic achievement and reflects their hard work, commitment and determination.
Taylor Sullivan also deserves particular recognition for achieving a combination of grade 8s and 7s across all of his subjects, an outstanding and consistent performance. We would also like to congratulate Harry Reeves, Katie Clay, Vinny Lower, Klaudia Bagniewska and Joel Smith, who all achieved an excellent set of results, including grade 8s.
The school is equally proud of the achievements of April Reed and Zac Twigger, who secured fantastic examination results while overcoming significant personal adversity. Their resilience, determination and commitment are a real credit to them.
These individual successes are a wonderful reflection of the commitment and ambition demonstrated by so many students across the year group
Our school culture of ‘Every child known, every lesson counts, every future unlocked’ is at the heart of everything we do, and we are incredibly proud of every one of our Year 11 students. Examination results are only one measure of success, but we are also proud that the vast majority of our students have secured their pathway of choice.
None of this success would be possible without the dedication of our students, their families and, of course, our staff. I would like to thank every member of the Aldercar High School team for the commitment, care and high expectations they have shown throughout the students’ journey. We are immensely proud of what this year group has achieved.
We wish every member of Year 11 the very best as they take their next steps into further education, apprenticeships, employment and beyond.
Kind regards
Kind Regards
Phil Smith
